Pumpkin Ravioli in a Fall Harvest Sauce.



Our large pumpkin filled ravioli in a fall harvest sauce. The sauce is a light butter sage sauce with sauteed apples, dried cranberries, pine nuts, quinoa and a touch of very special honey from our friends at the Honey Exchange in Maine, The ravioli's are finished with a garnish of flash fried julienne of sweet potato. Soup and salad will be offered as a starter. $18.25

Chicken Vesuvio Weekend



Every complete first weekend of the month (Friday must be included) we offer Clara's Chicken Vesuvio handed down from her mother Celeste. We bake our fresh chicken in a white wine and herb sauce with onions, mushrooms, and green and red peppers accompanied with roasted red potatoes. We also offer a complimentary soup or salad to start. This dish is priced at $16.25 for regular Chicken Vesuvio or $17.25 for Breast only



Upon request, the gnocchi can also be served in any of our homemade sauces

September Wine Feature
Evaluna Cabernet del Garda DOC 2014

Evaluna (Eve + Moon) is the result of winemaker Nadia Zenato's, and her mother Carla Prospero's, abundant love and knowledge of the area around Lake Garda in Italy's Veneto region. Red wines produced from the grapes around Lake Garda have been world renown as early as the Renaissance, when Pope Leo X sang praises to them.

Advancing and retreating glaciers left deposits rich in morainic and silty/morainic soils which, in the presence of Lake Garda's thermo-regulating influence and temperate microclimate, create softer wines showing less tannin. 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Cabernet Franc and fermented in stainless steel tanks - Evaluna is a moderate tannin wine with flavors of fresh red fruits emerging together with peppery characteristics.

We will be featuring this wine at $9 a glass and $35 a bottle.

Lobster Ravioli

This week we are serving a classic - lobster ravioli! Enjoy several large ravioli stuffed with lobster in a creamy four cheese dill sauce. Served with shrimp and button mushrooms on top, this dish is priced at $23.75 with soup or salad to start. 

Gnocchi Wednesday 

We spend all day peeling potatoes to make this traditional potato pasta. We recommend the gnocchi in tomato cream sauce with spinach and goat cheese, and will offer this combo for $15.95. This order will come with soup or salad to start.

Enjoy summer days with light, refreshing wines produced by some of the best female winemakers in Italy. The Tessari sisters are fourth generation winemakers perfecting the philosophy of careful selection, low yields and incredible attention to detail. Miriam Caporali is following in the footsteps of her father Giulio, cultivating an international reputation for producing some of the finest Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.

100% Garganega grapes, Soave Classico is vinified only in stainless steel tanks with several months’ lees contact before bottling. The entire process is completely chemical free. Fresh aromas of apple, pear, and almond balance clean minerality and a hint of fresh herb. Crisp and refreshing on the palate, the flavors and aromas build toward a harmonious and lingering finish.

90% Sangiovese, 5% Canaiolo Nero, and 5% Mammolo, a portion of the wine is aged for three months in year-old French barriques. This ruby red wine has opulent aromas of blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries, over more subtle notes of wildflowers and sweet spices.On the palate, the wine is elegant, with well-balanced tannins, vibrant acidity, and a smooth texture.

Fresh aromas of apple, pear, and almond balance clean minerality and a hint of fresh herb. Crisp and refreshing on the palate, the flavors and aromas build toward a harmonious and lingering finish.

90% Sangiovese, 5% Canaiolo Nero, and 5% Mammolo, a portion of the wine is aged for three months in year-old French barriques. This ruby red wine has opulent aromas of blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries, over more subtle notes of wildflowers and sweet spices.On the palate, the wine is elegant, with well-balanced tannins, vibrant acidity, and a smooth texture.

Tom's Table

Here at Clara's we are blessed with a great many loyal, longtime customers. One of the best is Tom J. Doody, who has been coming in every Saturday for more than twenty years!

During World War II, Tom served in the 20th Fighter Group in Kingscliff, United Kingdom. He was part of the 55th Fighter Squadron flying over 50 missions at the ripe young age of 21. Tom is a wealth of incredible stories about his flying days including escorting bombers on their missions. After WWII, Tom went on to become a scientific glass blower at Argon Laboratories. He raised a beautiful family and is blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren!


In honor of his 94th birthday, we at Clara's had a special present for him. This past Saturday, we revealed a dedication plaque at Tom's favorite table, "table 111," now know as "Tom's Table!"
